A specification writer since 1997, Colin, a graduate of the University of Toronto, joined the BBS team in 2004 as a project manager, and became a vice president in 2013. Sharing responsibilities for managing all our daily work with Dave Johnston, Colin's expertise is recreational/athletic, institutional, and cultural/performing arts projects, both nationally and internationally.

As vice president, Colin manages development of the BBS master specifications, coordinating our technical research with our developing philosophy, to ensure a practicable and state-of-the-art tool for specification writers and clients alike. He is also primarily responsible for research and knowledge development of our bidding and contracting documents.

As project manager, Colin leads his project teams, implementing our philosophy in a day-to-day scenario, interacting with clients, assisting in the overall management of the firm, and ensuring the delivery of projects on-time.
