A specification writer since 1997, Colin, a graduate of the University of Toronto, joined the BBS team in 2004 as a project manager, and was Vice President from 2013 through 2023, and since 2024 has been the BBS Manager of Master Specifications.

Colin manages development of the BBS master specifications, coordinating our technical research with our developing philosophy, to ensure a practicable and state-of-the-art tool for specification writers and clients alike. He is also primarily responsible for research and knowledge development of our bidding and contracting documents.
