We are excited to share that our company is evolving at Brian Ballantyne Specifications.

 

As part of a long‑standing succession process, Dave Johnston has assumed ownership and overall leadership of the practice. This transition has been carefully structured to ensure continuity for our clients and reflects the natural evolution of the firm.

 

Dave has been with Brian Ballantyne Specifications since 1998 and has played a central role in the delivery and management of our specification services for decades. As Managing Principal, Dave assumes overall responsibility for firm leadership, while ensuring continuity of our existing team, processes, and technical approach our clients rely on.

 

Brian Ballantyne remains actively involved, and will be for many years, in the practice and continues to work closely with the team and our clients. His ongoing role includes project delivery, strategic support, and providing continuity throughout this transition and beyond.

 

We are also pleased to share that Jared Cardiff has been named an Associate of the firm. Jared has made significant contributions to our specification work and to the development of our practice, and his appointment recognizes both his technical expertise and his leadership within our firm.

 

From a client perspective, it is very much business as usual. Our teams, approach, and commitment to high‑quality architectural specifications remain unchanged.

 

Together, we remain confident that this transition supports continued growth of the practice while maintaining the standards, relationships, and commitment to our clients.
